Ingredients
- 500gms Chicken breast
- 1 cup sliced onion
- ¼ cup capsicum
- 4 green chillies
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp. ginger – garlic paste
- 1tbsp julienne ginger (i.e gingercut into thin strips)
- Oil
- 1 tbsp. thick yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp garam masala
- salt to taste
Preparation
- Add all the ingredients (except oil and lemon juice) to chicken pieces and keep aside for about 30mins
- On a high heat, heat oil in a thick bottomed pan or wok and add chicken mixture.
- Mix well with the oil.
- Close lid and cook for 15 mins on a medium heat
- Switch off the heat once chicken is cooked and mix lemon juice
- Serve hot with rice, roti or bread
