Ovos de Pascoa

Ingredients

  • 250 gms crumbled Marie biscuits
  • 10 tbsp coco powder or slab of cooking chocolate
  • 2 cups milk
  • sugar to taste
  • handful of raisins, walnuts & cashewnuts (chopped and toasted)

Preparation

  • Mix the crumbled biscuits, coco or cooking chocolate, milk, sugar, raisins and nuts in a pan.
  • Cook this mixture over a double boiler.
  • when cooked allow to cool slightly.
  • Shape into eggs and allow to dry.
  • Wrap the eggs in colourful sliver paper.
