Ingredients
- 10 tbsp chocolate powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 6 tbsp powdered sugar
- 6 tbsp butter
- 18 marie biscuits (broken into small pieces)
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp whisky
- 1 sheet of parchment paper or greased paper
Preparation
- Mix chocolate powder, vanilla essence and sugar in a bowl.
- Add butter, broken biscuits and egg yolks and knead thoroughly
- Grease the paper slighty, place the mixture length wise towards one side giving a roll like shape (like a salami)
- Sprinkle the whisky all over the paper, fold it gently over the roll and tie it at both ends
- Keep it in the refrigerator and allow to harden.
- Remove the paper carefully and slice neatly before serving. (you can also slice the roll without removing the paper.)
